Risk, Compliance & Oversight
UGI Canada maintains a proportionate risk and compliance approach appropriate to its role as a governance, coordination, and quality-assurance platform. Risk management processes focus on identifying, assessing, and mitigating ethical, operational, reputational, and partnership-related risks across programs and international collaborations.
Compliance oversight includes:
- Ethical and conflict-of-interest disclosures
- Partner due diligence and eligibility review
- Data protection and responsible technology awareness
- Adherence to agreed governance and transparency standards
Oversight is exercised through defined governance bodies, advisory mechanisms, and scheduled review cycles to ensure accountability, continuous improvement, and alignment with public-interest objectives. Where relevant, external professional guidance may be sought to support compliance and risk-management integrity.
Through this approach, UGI Canada aims to protect trust, safeguard participants and partners, and ensure sustainable, responsible engagement across all initiatives.
