UGI Canada operates as an international educational and professional development platform, working in affiliation with:

Global universities, institutions, research partners, and professional organizations.

UGI Canada provides CPD Dual International Accredited educational programs, global policy forums, innovation summits, leadership training, research collaboration opportunities, and humanitarian technology initiatives.

UGI’s programs support professionals and learners engaged in areas including:

Ethical Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Digital Governance
Cybersecurity and Responsible Technology
Humanitarian Innovation and Technology for Social Impact
Education, Training and Lifelong Learning
HealthTech and EdTech Innovation
Entrepreneurship, Startups and Product Development

These Terms apply to all participants, members, students, researchers, partners, event attendees, and digital platform users worldwide engaging with UGI Canada’s programs, services, and platforms. 

2. Privacy & Data Protection

UGI Canada is committed to safeguarding the personal data and privacy of all participants, members, and users.

UGI Canada complies with international privacy regulations including:

4. Program Participation, Fees & Contributions

Program Fees

Program participation may involve:
Course registration fees

Payment Policy

Payments may be accepted in:
U.S. Dollars (USD)
Other internationally recognized payment systems.

Refund Policy

Unless otherwise specified:
Program registrations are generally non-refundable once confirmed.
Refunds may be granted in cases of administrative error, program cancellation, or exceptional circumstances reviewed by UGI administration.

Participants in UGI Canada programs may receive access to:

Online and hybrid professional education programs
International conferences and global policy forums
Research and innovation collaboration platforms
Entrepreneurship and startup development programs
Humanitarian innovation initiatives
Professional networking opportunities with global experts

Participants may also be eligible to:

Receive CPD professional development certificates
Participate in global innovation and research initiatives

Specific benefits vary depending on the program or membership category.

6. Academic Integrity & Certification Disclosure

UGI Canada maintains strict standards of academic integrity, ethical conduct, and certification authenticity.

Certificates issued by UGI Canada may include:

Professional Development Certificates
CPD Participation Certificates
Program Completion Certificates
Conference Participation Recognition

Certification Disclaimer

Unless explicitly stated:
Certificates represent educational participation or professional development recognition.
Certificates do not automatically confer academic degrees, professional licensure, or regulatory accreditation.
Any certification issued through university partners or accredited institutions will be clearly identified.
Unauthorized duplication, modification, or resale of certificates constitutes a violation of UGI policies.

7. Digital Platforms, Content Use & AI Integration

UGI Canada provides digital learning environments, AI-enhanced educational platforms, and collaborative innovation systems.

Participants agree to the following:
Access credentials are for personal educational use only.
Course materials, videos, digital tools, and research materials remain intellectual property of UGI Canada or its partners.
Content may not be reproduced, redistributed, or monetized without written authorization.

UGI Canada supports ethical use of Artificial Intelligence technologies and encourages alignment with:
UNESCO AI Ethics Guidelines
Canadian Artificial Intelligence and Data Act (AIDA)
Global responsible AI governance standards.

8. Liability, Risk & Disclaimer

Participation in UGI Canada programs is voluntary.

UGI Canada and its affiliates are not liable for:
Personal, professional, financial, or business outcomes resulting from participation
Interpretation or application of educational materials
External factors affecting events, travel programs, or conferences
Delays, modifications, or cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances.

Participants agree to hold harmless UGI Canada and its partners except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct

9. Code of Conduct & Ethical Participation

All participants must adhere to the UGI Global Code of Ethical Participation, which includes:
Respectful and inclusive communication
Academic honesty and integrity
Professional conduct in all forums
No harassment, discrimination, or abuse
No misuse of platforms for solicitation or personal gain

Violation of these standards may result in suspension or termination of program participation without refund.

10. Accessibility, Inclusion & Non-Discrimination

UGI Canada promotes inclusive access to global education and innovation programs.
UGI programs aim to support participation from:

Continued participation constitutes acceptance of revised terms

12. Consent & Participant Acknowledgment

By registering for any UGI Canada program, event, or educational service, you confirm that you:
Have read and understood these Terms, Conditions, and International Disclosures
Accept the educational and professional development nature of UGI programs
Take responsibility for your participation and learning engagement
Consent to data processing and communications in accordance with international privacy laws
Agree to participate ethically and respectfully within the UGI global community.
