Who May Volunteer

Opportunities are open to licensed lawyers, legal scholars, compliance specialists, policy advisors, and governance professionals with relevant expertise. Volunteers contribute knowledge, analysis, and guidance within their professional competence and jurisdiction.

Volunteer Expectations

Volunteers are expected to:
• Practice only within their licensed jurisdiction and demonstrated expertise
• Maintain professional independence, confidentiality, and integrity
• Provide services strictly on a pro bono basis, without fees or personal benefit

These standards ensure compliance with international professional-ethics obligations and public-interest principles.

Volunteer Charter

All volunteers must sign a Pro Bono Volunteer Charter, confirming adherence to ethical conduct, independence, confidentiality, and BiG’s humanitarian mandate.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure

Volunteers are required to complete a conflict-of-interest disclosure prior to engagement and to update it as circumstances change, ensuring transparency, impartiality, and trust in all Clinic activities.
